Since then, Brixton has opened a series of stores in California—many along the world-famous El Camino Real. Today, Brixton is one of the most iconic vintage-inspired clothing brands, recognized the world over for its timeless styles.

Inspired by Artists, Musicians, and Everyday Heroes

The inspiration behind Brixton apparel comes from vintage style and workwear of the past—from mariners and aviators to cowboys and laborers. Our designs capture the essence of the past, reinvented to meet the needs of modern living.

Brixton’s mission is to unite people from all walks of life, from creators and builders to musicians and artists to craftspeople and world travelers.

The Future Is Now: Brixton’s Commitment to Sustainability

Brixton’s sustainability commitment is put to practice through a variety of initiatives that minimize our carbon footprint.

In a world of disposable everything, we set out to build vintage inspired clothing that lasts. Our goal is to outlast the trends with timeless styles and durable designs. By extending the life cycle of our products, we keep them out of landfills.

Brixton uses certified Australian wool in all our felt headwear and up-cycles the ocean’s cruelest enemy—discarded fishing nets—in our snapback hats. By using recycled synthetic fibers, we strive to create products that are more sustainable.

But our commitment to a cleaner world doesn’t end there. We ship our products in biodegradable bags and 100% recycled boxes to ensure every part of our process takes the planet into account.

It’s all part of our commitment to creating a cleaner world.
