Tell us about your roots, where did you grow up?
I grew up in Westminster, California. The city has a cool skatepark where I spent nearly everyday growing up haha. Super grateful for the place because it introduced me to the culture, alongside so many people.
How did you get into skateboarding?
I think I got a board for holiday and then ever since I was just obsessed. Skating around the neighborhood with friends, exploring our little zone, trying to skate everyday in our path. I was just constantly skating from that point on.
Who is your favorite skater on the team, be biased.
My favorite skater on the team is Kenny Anderson. I mean how could it not be KA. haha
Tell us about your new part? Where did you film and what inspired you as it came together?
This project was filmed in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami. It means a lot to me as it’s my body of work from the last year or so. What inspired me the most me the most on this project would be getting to stay true to myself. Skating things I want to skate, the way I want to skate them.
Is there anything you keep in mind to keep your drive going to film?
There’s a lot of ups and downs in this game haha. One thing always helps me is just kind of taking a step back and just going skating with friends. From there everything else is natural, having friends that are down to go skate really helps!
